Meet my buddy Ethan 💙
Ethan has been with his mama, Emily Jean , for about two years now, and he is truly such a joy. He’s sweet, cheerful, full of smiles and laughter, and the love he has for his mom and big brother is impossible to miss. Emily official adopted Ethan last month! 🎉
Emily is one of those rare and special people who opens her heart and home to children who need love, comfort, and safety the most. She’s the kind of person who will drop everything — including sleep — to welcome a child in the middle of the night, simply because they need someone to care. That’s what foster parents do.
Without people like Emily, the world would be a much darker place. She gives bedtime stories, hugs after hard days, reassurance during scary moments, and most importantly, she makes children feel loved, safe, and wanted.
As Foster Care Awareness Month comes to an end, I couldn’t let it pass without recognizing the incredible foster parents out there. The love, patience, and selflessness they pour into these children changes lives forever. 🥰
