Summertime at sixteen feels like this—sunshine on your face, laughter that never ends, and best friends who make every day feel like the best one yet. I had so much fun capturing these moments with my daughter and two of her closest friends. I love being able to freeze time for them in a way they’ll always be able to look back on with a smile. It’s hard to believe that by next summer they’ll be heading into their senior year—but I can’t wait to help each of them tell the story of who they are, and who they’re becoming, as they step into a season of life where everything starts to change. I’ve been dying to share these for weeks, and I’m so excited to finally be able to! This was one of my favorite sessions ever, with the gorgeous mountain light and the sweetest, most beautiful couple.

Ashley and Dallin are getting married in just a few days, and I couldn’t be more excited for them. Photographing their engagement session was such a joy — not just because they’re stunning (I mean, obviously 😍), but because they’re kind, grounded, and genuinely wonderful humans.

Ashley is my cousin, which makes this extra special — I’ve loved watching her grow into the beautiful woman she is, and now seeing her with someone who cherishes her the way she deserves? It’s everything.

Dallin, we’re so lucky to have you in the family.

You two are something golden. 🤍

I had the privilege of taking graduation photos for my niece Gloria and her husband Luke, and I’m still in awe of what they’ve accomplished. Both recently graduated from BYU with 4-year degrees in the same field, and they did it all side by side. It’s such a rare and beautiful thing to see a couple pursue the same dream and finish strong together. They’re not only incredibly hardworking, but also two of the kindest people I know. I love them so much and couldn’t be prouder.

It’s nearly springtime, but…it’s Utah, so not really. During the colder and “uglier” months before the trees blossom, I love to offer in-home sessions. This is especially nice for older couples, families with new babies, or just anyone who hates the cold weather. It also lends a personal touch to photos, and makes it easy to feel “at home” in front of the camera, since you quite literally are at home. I also like to capture a few images of how life really is at this current stage, since every season is fleeting. Contact me if you’re interested in an in-home portrait and lifestyle session.
