It’s been a busy month packed with performance and audition photos. A creative change of pace was exactly what I needed. Maren wrapped up her run of the Nutcracker with Ballet West (with her amazing debut as The Sugar Plum Fairy) and we were able to find some time to build some creative shots!

We went with a more dramatic, vintage style approach with long flowing hair

The amazing ! I love doing adventure dance photography, so when Hannah’s mom asked if we could go get some dance photos at Arches, I was all in!!

This adventure was so fun and Hannah was such a trooper, we had this really steep hike to do after we had already wore her out doing photos elsewhere!

If you've ever wanted to do a photoshoot in my studio, this is your last month! Life is always changing. I am still committed to providing beautiful fine art dance portraiture for Utah!

We will still be doing dance photoshoots on-location and in studio, the studio part will just move temporarily to dance studio rentals while we work out a new photography space in the coming year or so.

And of course, we'll continue to photograph events as well as class photos for your dance studio should you need us.

As for the posted photo, this is my second photography shooter and assistant, .yukiko. She's been such an asset to our studio and is a pro at tossing fabric in almost all of the fabric shots you've seen me post!
