Let's connect! why, hello! first of all, can i just say thank you so very much for stopping by my page! i am so excited about my photographic adventures, and this page is a showcase of my work, my life, sweet smiles, and special moments. when i was a kid, i wanted to be a paleontologist. i graduated college with a degree in english literature, emphasis is poetry. flash forward to today, and i wear

many different hats. but, most importantly, i am a wife to my very best friend and a momma to two of the most interesting tiny people i know. after a million army moves and for the past 5 years, my family has called northern virginia home. i am not so much a city girl, but i cannot sit still. so, my little family is constantly on the go, finding new places to explore with my camera in tow. when i became a mom, i fell in love with photography, a hobby i traded for corporate jobs post-college. i am a natural light photographer, and i have a knack for capturing unique moments with a little bit of whimsy and a whole lot of life. specifically, i specialize in on-location newborn, family, and engagement sessions with a combination of both a traditional and lifestyle approach. i love to capture perfect smiles, but prefer everyday sentiment and quirks. it’s no secret that the years go by so ridiculously fast. that’s where i come in. i’m here to help your family make these sweet memories last forever. i love that photos tell strong and profound stories about these fleeting moments, and i can’t wait to help you document yours! let’s chat!

Jetted off to Illinois for a fun little mini-break! Was hoping all the snow would be gone, but it's still hanging around!

Catching up on all the things, scheduling, edits, emails. So excited to officially begin a small group photo mastermind tomorrow, and am also attending a beautiful styled shoot Sunday. Always refining, always trying to stay creative in this messy world.

After being home with my kids for a couple of weeks over Christmas break, something really settled in for me.

We slowed down. Stayed in pajamas too long. Let the days unfold without rushing. And I started noticing things I hadn’t paused long enough to see before — how much they’ve grown, how my youngest is suddenly ten, how the magic is still here… just different than when they were tiny.

It reminded me how quickly these everyday seasons shift.
This year, I’m feeling pulled to document families before it changes — not before a milestone, but before the rhythms you’re living right now quietly become something new. The lived-in life. The ordinary days that are actually everything.

Some of the moments I’m especially drawn to photographing right now:
• Making breakfast at home
• Farm chores or daily outdoor routines
• A simple picnic
• Family movie days
• After-school decompression
• Backyard play at golden hour
• Laundry days with music on
• Evening rituals — baths, books, winding down
• Neighborhood walks you take all the time
• Quiet hours at home — drawing, building, creating

Nothing posed. Nothing polished. Just your real life, as it is.
