What an honor and wonderful opportunity to capture my first Hindu wedding day, ceremony and celebration! The bride’s Mom is a former co-worker/preschool teacher and friend. She was also K’s first teacher! The traditions and blessings were wonderful and colorful! We started the day with photos at Lake Anne, working around last Saturday’s farmers market.

Congratulations to this lovely grad that I have known since elementary school! It was incredible to see her and her classmates cross the big graduation stage to receive their diplomas. She will continue her sport of cheerleading at CNU! This grad was an absolute joy to photograph! Best wishes to C!

More Senior Portrait reveals soon!! ☀️I just finished two more albums and a hometown wedding! It’s been a wonderfully busy photography season. I did have to turn down 2 different clients for their weddings & that makes me sad to do this as it’s an honor to be asked! I am beyond grateful for this opportunity to enjoy this time of creative artistry. I love capturing these beautiful moments in time and all of the incredible smiles over the years! Congratulations to another lovely high school graduate headed off to University of Missouri!

How did she discover Mizzou? From what I understand, that’s where her parents met. 😉 She went for a visit, and that was all it took! What’s the saying… “the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree?” 🍎

It’s such an exciting season, especially with Decision Day 📚happening just last Friday, May 1st!

I also had the privilege of photographing her older sister, who is studying at University of Virginia.

This continues to be one of my favorite types of photography — capturing all the excitement of graduation, the anticipation of life’s next adventure and chapter, and that special one-on-one time with the graduate and her mom.

Celebrating J&K as they prepare for marriage this spring! Their engagement session at Meadowlark Gardens was absolutely stunning—such a beautiful setting for an equally beautiful couple.

Spring Break was an incredible week filled with unforgettable senior sessions! From cap & gowns to sports gear, sundresses & boots, and all the meaningful details in between—sweetheart rose bouquets, pendants, flags, and signs—every shoot was full of personality and celebration.
