IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ

This is a post that I never wanted to write, I don’t know how to start it and I sure the hell don’t know how to finish it.

Opening this studio in Hermitage was a dream come true. When I first made the leap and left my job to pursue my photography career the ultimate goal was opening a commercial spot. I had to pinch myself every time I opened door. I clearly remember crying with pride when I saw my sign being hung. I have never taken a single day for granted, thanking God constantly for everything that I had. Unfortunately, though it wasn’t meant to last. This chapter is closing and I will be moving out of the studio at the end of March. I don’t want people to speculate on the reasons why I have to close my doors, so I’m just going to be honest - because I have always been very open with my clients. Our business plan just doesn’t work anymore. It comes down to the financials.

Making this decision has been one of the hardest and most gut wrenching things I’ve ever done. My heart is broken.

The future is a little uncertain at the moment. I do know that I will be doing family summer and fall sessions - will be releasing those soon. And will continue outdoor shooting for birthday, engagement, etc. I will also continue to photograph birth and fresh 48 sessions. Beyond that, nothing has been decided.

I want to thank every single person that has a hand in my journey. If you’ve been a loyal client that I have had multiple sessions with, come to the studio for mini sessions, shared my page, left a comment on a photo, etc - I thank you, it has meant so much to me. So many of you are truly like family to me. I have enjoyed watching your children grow, catching up on life and capturing all of your beautiful moments.

Thank you to Sarah, who has been so wonderful assisting my sessions along with Madeline, KK, my mom + sisters.

Also, my friends and family - without them I wouldn’t have even of tried to chase this dream.

I do know that this isn’t the end of Miles of Memories Photography - it’s just the end of this space.

If you would like a studio session, please reach out asap - shooting will stop the middle of March. We will not be having Easter Mini Sessions.

I will be having a huge studio sale at the end of March that will include studio furniture, tons of Holiday decor and so many other things.
