A few things I tell every couple before their wedding day. 🤍

The little things can make a BIG difference in how your day feels and how naturally your photos come together. So here are a few reminders I hope every couple takes with them:

1. Come prepared.

Have your details together and ready to go so we can make the most of your time.

2. Give your wedding party jobs.

Have them keep the space clean for photos, make sure you have a drink, help with your dress, round people up, and handle the little things you shouldn’t have to think about.

3. Look up & take it all in.

Don’t forget to actually experience the day you’ve spent so much time planning. Plus when walking down the aisle you don’t want to be looking at the ground!

4. Hold your partner’s hand.

Stay connected whenever you can. Especially during the ceremony! These little moments make some of the sweetest photos.

5. Savor that first kiss.

You’ve waited all day for it. Don’t rush it.

6. Stay close after “I Do.”

Keep finding your way back to each other once the ceremony ends. The day goes by FAST.

7. Stop & breathe.

Trust your people, trust your photographer, and let yourself enjoy being married.

Your photos will preserve the day, but you still have to live it.
