Capturing Raheem DeVaughn taking the time to autograph merchandise for his fans was a reminder of what made the music industry special in the first place.

In a world of streaming, likes, and quick clicks, there’s something meaningful about a signed CD, poster, or piece of merchandise. It’s personal. It’s memorable. It’s a connection between the artist and the people who support them.

Maybe it’s time to make this popular again. Not everything has to be digital. Sometimes a handshake, a conversation, and an autograph create a memory that lasts far longer than a social media post.
