My first time exploring Michigan…

Definitely added to my list of favorite places. Munising and Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore were beautiful, peaceful and a much needed setting for days to soak in nature. Waterfalls, beaches, wildlife, hiking trails, and small town atmosphere were perfect.

I have images to go through on my camera but wanted to share a handful of moments from this special place. Just a reminder to not take these natural landscapes for granted and our legislators need to keep them protected…share your journeys, images, need for the outdoors and undisturbed landscapes. It’s never too late…or too soon…to have a voice to speak to this.

Spent some time volunteering at Deam Lake horse camp cleaning stalls this morning. It’s a really nice campground and so are the trails, which require a lot of upkeep! And it takes a lot of time, work and people to maintain, so reach out for ways to support!

AND on my way out - look at that line to get in! We can’t take our green spaces and natural habitats for granted! Reach out to your local and state representatives to let them know they’re valued and used, share pictures, support local events, and more to keep our state and national parks here for generations! 🇺🇸

Yep - it’s been a minute since I posted!Sometimes a step back is needed for other life happenings - but I cannot wait to share waterfall images I captured today. It was a much needed break from so many rainy days, but made for beautiful spring water flows. Stay tuned! Oh - and I made sure I had my circulizer in my camera bag 😉
