✨ A little confession, and a little long
Over the last 11 years, I’ve been incredibly blessed to build more than just a photography business. I’ve built what I lovingly call the MileStone Photography Family.
The people who trust me to capture their milestones aren’t “clients” to me. They’re families I’ve laughed with, cried with, celebrated with, and watched grow through the years. I’ve photographed engagements that turned into weddings, weddings that turned into babies, and babies that somehow became big kids before my eyes.
But if I’m being honest, I’ve done a pretty terrible job of sharing all of these beautiful stories and sessions online. Somewhere between editing galleries, raising a 4 kids, homeschooling, and running a business, posting consistently fell to the bottom of my list.
And I realized something: if I don’t share these moments, new families never get the chance to see what MileStone Photography is all about and become part of this amazing community.
So I’m making a promise to myself to do better.
And what better session to start with than this sweet family? 🩵
This mama has been one of my dear friends and has been cheering me on through most of my professional photography journey. Watching her family grow over the years has been such a gift, and I’m beyond grateful not only for her friendship but for the privilege of documenting these seasons of life for them.
These are the moments that remind me exactly why I fell in love with photography in the first place.
Thank you to every family who has trusted me with your memories over the last 11 years. I can’t wait to share more of your stories and welcome new families into the MileStone Photography Family. ✨
