Big upgrade for University of Kentucky ahead of the Southeastern Conference NCAA Softball Championship Tournament. The team recently transitioned from RTS ROAMEO to the new RTS NOMAD platform from with support from TakeOne Broadcast Solutions.

The upgrade brings several major improvements to game-day communications And the timing could not have been better. By day two of tournament play, the system had already been exposed to rain conditions which is exactly the type of environment these systems are designed to handle.

Excited to see the system already proving itself in live tournament conditions and proud to have helped support the deployment alongside the UK Athletics and RTS teams.

This is how you build the next generation. Not in theory, but in practice.

We’re in the middle of rack build and precommissioning here at TakeOne HQ for a university client’s new Control Room, and this is where it all starts to come together.

What makes this one even more meaningful is the impact beyond the install. This isn’t just a control room, it’s a training ground. A place where students will get hands-on experience with real-world systems and learn what it takes to step into this industry.

We’re also reminded how grateful we are to be supported by so many great partners and manufacturers. The gear in this room represents more than just equipment, it reflects years of innovation, trust, and collaboration across our industry.

Production people have a way of finding each other and if you put enough of us in the same room - before long the conversations turn to cameras, rigs, workflows, and the small details that make gear work better on set.

TakeOne was proud to be a sponsor of nashprodweek, and it was a great opportunity to spend time with the talented community that continues to grow here in Nashville.

We were joined by our friends at Sony, which served as the main focus of our booth with their amazing line up of cinema cameras. Also through our partners at Bold Distribution we featured a range of production tools including Vocas, Hedén, LUPO, and Filmsticks. From camera rigging and lens control to lighting and on-set support gear, these are the kinds of tools designed to help crews work efficiently in the real world.

Events like this are always about more than the equipment. They are about the people behind the productions. The operators, producers, engineers, and creatives who continue to push the craft forward.

At Take One, our team culture is built on celebrating the people who make this place what it is, and today we’re recognizing two team members this quarter on their work anniversaries.

We’re starting with Jim, who just marked his first year as our Account Development Representative. With a strong background in customer service and sales, Jim helps set the tone from the very first interaction. He makes sure our customers are taken care of from initial contact through the ordering process. He’s known for his teamwork and get-it-done attitude. As Jim puts it, “The people and the culture. Working at Take One makes it easy to do good work with good people.”

We’re also celebrating Patrick's first year as a Project Manager. Patrick brings focus and steady leadership to every project. When asked what he likes most about working at Take One, he shared, “Being able to work alongside our clients to bring a design on paper to a functioning system.” From the first conversation to final sign-off, he helps keep projects on track and supports the team every step of the way. His commitment to doing things right has made a strong impact in his first year.
