Working with Elea and her children over the last 6 or so years has been so special to me, and then getting to photograph this wedding felt like an absolute privilege. Watching kids grow, families change, seasons pass, how beautiful that is. 🖤

Each fall, I photograph the reunion for the Edneyville High School Class of 1969. EHS doesn't exist anymore, although a portion of the original building has now been incorporated into the NC Justice Academy. This year, we had a terrible rainstorm, but then, as we'd hoped, a beautiful double rainbow... you could even see the purple part, which hardly ever happens. 🌈

Today I got to photograph a sweet little wedding for some amazing long-time clients. I have been honored to watch this family grow and change over the last 5 years and it's so special to me that they keep calling me every year. Today I got to witness them step into a new, incredible chapter of their lives. What a lucky girl I am that this is my job. More pictures to come! 🖤🖤 Congratulations, E & C!

Today I got to add some of my favorite people to the HPP family - the Sigmons! These folks are an incredible part of our community, and I feel very lucky to have called them friends for quite a long time. Despite the heat, everybody did great, and the location was beyond beautiful - a waterfall, a creek, a pond, grass that looked like it came from a hobbit movie, the whole shebang! 🖤🖤

Today I found out, in a VERY roundabout way, that Verizon has randomly been declining my calls as a screening process - and not giving folks the ability to even leave a message. Sooooooo that's great, righ if you've tried to reach me with no success, please do try again! What a mess!

Feeling like we got really lucky here - not jinxing anything!!
The ice is so beautiful in the sunshine this morning. It's too slippery to walk around much but I pulled out the Plena and shot a few for posterity.
