To my “Must Love Dogs” family: I love sharing the happy tails pictures of the pups we enjoy keeping while you are on vacation. This posting is different.

I have worked with the Animal Rescue Corps and know them. The organizers, staff and volunteers are my friends and I can personally vouch for them in case you are not familiar with them.

There is not much more about this shared post for me to say by way of explanation. I simply want to encourage you to support what they do in any way you are able to, whether financially, by sharing with other friends, donating in-kind goods and materials, or by simply posting a “Thank You” to them on the Animal Rescue Corp website.

Animal Rescue Corps responded to an urgent request for assistance from law enforcement authorities in Henry County, Tennessee yesterday. Authorities found hundreds of animals kept in cruel and deplorable conditions, as well as a very young child who was also being kept in a cage. More details to follow.
