You ever see a wedding where you can tell the couple had a VISION… and nailed every single piece of it? 🎨

That was Monica and Nicholas. 🤍

They tied the knot at the beautiful IPEC in Las Vegas, and let me tell you… the color. The choices. The whole scene. These two didn't just throw a wedding, they created a whole world. 🌈✨

And you could feel the intention in all of it. Every detail said something. Every color meant something. That's what happens when two beautiful people bring a beautiful vision to life. 😍

But underneath all that gorgeous design was the real thing… their love. Clear as day. The kind you don't have to look hard for because it's just radiating off of them.

Let's talk about the moment every filmmaker dreads… your audio cutting out at THE most important second. 😳🎤

Picture it. A four hour surprise proposal scavenger hunt at the Bellagio. The groom set up this whole thing for his bride, dragged all their friends into it, made it fun. And it all built to that boat in front of the Bellagio fountains. 💍⛲

We're rolling. Everything's perfect. And then… the audio drops. 💀

Here's the honest lesson, filmmaker to filmmaker.

We ran the DJI Mic 2s. And going in, we had a choice… run internal record, or don't. We chose NOT to. 🎧

The reasoning made sense at the time. Internal record eats battery faster, and with four hours to cover on a SURPRISE proposal, the last thing we wanted was to dig into his jacket mid-hunt to swap a dead pack. 🔋

We even did the homework. Boulevard to the back of the fountains? About 600ft. Left to right? Around 1200ft. And the Mic 2s can push past 800ft of range. On paper, we were fine. ✅

But paper doesn't account for the Strip. 😩 The casinos. The crowds. The Wi-Fi. All that interference is what actually killed our audio.

Lesson learned, and we're sharing it so you don't learn it the hard way… 👇

From now on? ALWAYS hit internal record. Just swap the pack when you need to. Every single time.

Wanna know one of our favorite little tricks of the trade? 👀

The bouquet toss fake-out. 💐😏

Here's how it goes. The bride winds up… one, two, three… and FAKES it. Doesn't let go. And usually? The bridesmaids go WILD. Arms flailing, screaming, diving for a bouquet that never left her hand. It's pure gold every single time. 😂

But Jackson and Lindsay's crew? Smart bunch. 🧠 They barely flinched on the fake-out. Played it cool. Weren't falling for it.

And THEN… the real throw came. 💥 And oh, they reacted. That's the moment. That's the one you live for. 🙌

This is exactly why we do what we do the way we do it. We let the camera roll. We let the candid, unscripted, real-life chaos unfold. Because the best moments? You can't plan those. You just have to be ready to catch them. 🎥✨

Okay you HAVE to see this one. 👀

Watch closely… because it happens fast. 😂

It's raining outside. The groom walks up, hits that wet doorway in his dress shoes and… SLIP. 😳 He nearly goes down and doesn't even fully realize it in the moment. Dress shoes plus wet floor equals every groom's secret enemy. 🌧️👞

But here's the part we're low-key proud of… the camera never flinched. 🎥

That's the gimbal life. When you're running one, you develop this sixth sense. Your subconscious is basically radar… constantly scanning, peeking back, making sure you're pointed the right way even while the world's moving around you. Steady no matter what. 🙌

Now do WE always stay that graceful? 😅 Absolutely not.

Let's be honest for a second…

We've walked into pews. 🙈 One of us smacked a shin so hard on a bench mid push-in that the bruise stuck around for a MONTH. Played it off in the moment like "oh I'm good" while dying inside. 💀

And the all-time legend? At a wedding in Jersey… one of us went for a shot and straight up sat down on a guest's LAP. 😂😂

Here's a little industry secret… beautiful people aren't always beautiful people. 👀

You'd be surprised how often the prettiest faces come with the nastiest attitudes.

And then there's Niya and Lonnie. 🤍

Some days everything just… lines up. The light. The love. The location. All of it. 🌅

That was Kellee and Britton at Paiute Golf Course. 🤍

Let's start with the venue, because WOW. If you haven't seen Paiute, you're missing one of the most stunning backdrops in Las Vegas. Rolling greenery for days. A glassy lake catching the light. Golden sunset pouring over everything like it was made just for these two. 🌿💧

We pulled out all the stops. Drone soaring overhead. Ground shots right in the middle of the emotion. And that light? Chef's kiss. The kind of light you can't buy or fake, you just have to be ready when it shows up. And we were. 🎥✨

Then there's the interior. That reception room at Paiute is GORGEOUS. And their first dance in it? One of those moments that gives you chills watching it back. 🥹💃

But none of it works without the couple. And Kellee and Britton were everything. The way they interacted, the way they lit up around each other, the way they made every frame feel effortless… you can't direct that. That's just real love doing its thing. 💫

Here's a wedding day tip by Young Hip & Married that'll instantly upgrade your photos and video… and almost nobody tells you this. 📸

When you get up to your officiant, here's the temptation. You face THEM. You stare at THEM. 😳

But think about it… what does everyone actually see?

Your guests? The back of your head.
Your photographer? The back of your head.

Here's the easy fix.
