Bruun Idun
Lincoln Park
Seattle, Washington
May 2026
Brunn Idun stands on the shoreline playing her flute to the Orca’s to ask them why they have all left the Pugeut Sound. Bruun Idun is a striking, 16-foot-tall public art sculpture nestled along the waterfront in Lincoln Park in West Seattle.
She is part of a larger, ambitious public art initiative called "Northwest Trolls: Way of the Bird King," created by the world-renowned Danish recycle artist Thomas Dambo. The project features a series of giant, whimsical trolls hidden throughout the Pacific Northwest (and other select U.S. locations), each crafted to tell a specific story about environmental sustainability, conservation, and cultural heritage.
