A little personal note from me. 🖤

Many of you know me through Triple Vision Studios or SportraitsLV. I’ve photographed your families, your seniors, your athletes, your businesses and some of the biggest moments in your lives.

Today, I’m sharing a little more of mine.

For the past 15 years, I’ve been living with a progressive kidney disease called FSGS. Today, my kidneys function at roughly 3%, I’m on dialysis, and I’m waiting for a kidney transplant.

I recently learned that finding my match is going to be especially difficult because my PRA is 100%. In simple terms, my immune system is likely to reject the vast majority of donor kidneys.

So I decided it was time to make some noise. 🤘

I created .KidneyStrong to share my journey, raise awareness about kidney disease and living donation, and hopefully help my story reach the person who may someday be my match.

I’m not asking my clients to donate a kidney or make a financial contribution.

I’m simply asking you to help me reach more people.

Follow .KidneyStrong. Share the page. Share a post when one speaks to you. Every new person who sees my story gives it another opportunity to travel outside my immediate circle.

You’ve trusted me to capture so many pieces of your lives over the years. It would mean more than I can say to have some of you alongside me for this part of mine.

Somewhere out there is my badass kidney.

Let’s make enough noise to find it. 🖤🤘
