In mid-2013, I decided to break loose from the bonds of the automatic camera mode as to allow me the freedom to control what I create from what I viewed of the world through the lens of my camera - the creative freedom to fully express my artistic visions and to "speak" through my images. et forth into the exciting new world of photography, beginning with purchasing an entry level professional camera; prior to that I used basically "point & shoot" cameras, which was only the first of many more equipment purchases I come to learn is a photographer's vice. With the proper equipment in hand, I began attending workshops, participating in photo shoots with other talented photographers & models, reading and watching whatever tutorials I could get my hands on in the art and technique of a variety of different styles of photography - both artistically and foundationally - I was and am like a sieve absorbing whatever I can to strive and journey towards achieving the level of photographic artistry, creativity, and beauty I so much hope and desire to reach. So follow me if you will along my transitional journey from a photographer that began as capturing mediocre images to what I believe will be awe-striking, stand-apart, and breath-taking photography: portrait, landscape, fashion, wildlife, and whatever else I can capture the essence and beauty of - the type of images to strike one's heart, soul, and mind! And yes, I may seem a tad bit confident in my future as a photographer but how else is one to be when one seeks and strives to capture perfection? But I am and will always be humbled and thankful for the freedom and opportunity I have now. If I don't ever achieve the level of photography I so much desire from within, it will not be from a lack of trying or vision and either way, the journey will be filled with so much beauty, experience, and adventure!
