This past fall Deb and I went to Watkins Glenn and stayed at a beautiful B&B called Idlwilde Inn. This is a really beautiful old Inn from I think the mid 1800's. (Don't quote me on it) Anyway, the halls had 8 pictures of the Inn from the past. These pictures must have been hung in direct sunlight for some time. I asked the Inn keeper Marcus if he'd be interested in some restoration on them to clean them up. I made a sample for him; which he approved.
I also suggested that we use a professional framer to work with me to remove the pictures from the frames so I can start the process. I made contact with Girl On The Hill Framing in Bethlehem, who does my work.
Marcus delivered the 8 framed pictures to Dawn and she removed the pictures for me.
I scanned these, spent several hours fixing them up. Next, the new files go off to the printer and then to Dawn - Girl on the Hill - to reassemble them back in the original frames.
Anyway, here's the before and after. they were in order, I hope FB doesn't move them around.
