Working on editing some branding pics and came across this little white-faced cutie! 🐮 Those long lashes though! Who’s ready for some more western and ranch photography on my feed!? There’s something special about photographing seniors who are completely at home in the outdoors, and Xander was exactly that. From the moment we started exploring under Montana’s big skies, it was clear this session was a perfect fit for him. Kind, adventurous, and always up for whatever the evening brought, Xander made my job easy. Whether we were wandering through the landscape or chasing that last bit of golden Montana light, every image felt like a reflection of who he truly is.

One of my favorite parts of being a photographer is getting to know my clients and creating a session that feels authentic to them. My goal is never just to take photos, but to tell a story. I want my seniors to feel relaxed, comfortable, and free to be themselves in front of my camera. The best images happen when personalities shine through, and Xander's adventurous spirit showed up in every frame.

As an archer, athlete and someone who genuinely loves the outdoors, Montana provided the perfect backdrop for this chapter of his story. And because no great Montana adventure is complete without a little excitement, this session even ended with Xander chasing off a porcupine! Thankfully, we all made it home quill-free.

Xander, congratulations on your senior year and all that lies ahead. Thank you for trusting me to capture this special season of your life and for making this session so much fun. I can't wait to see where your adventurous spirit takes you next.

Truthfully though, any excuse to step onto your family farm or ranch and photograph you right where your story has been rooted… that’s my kind of evening. The wide open spaces, the dust in the air, the hum of irrigation pivots, and that soft Montana light spilling across the fields never gets old to me.
Reed, what an honor it was to capture this season of your life. You are the kind of young man people can’t help but root for! You are hardworking, humble, talented, and genuine to the core and you ROCK that letterman's jacket. You made every frame effortless. Spending the evening with you and your incredible family under one of the most iconic Montana backdrops felt less like work and more like preserving a piece of home.
I have no doubt life is going to open so many doors for you, and I’ll be over here cheering you on every step of the way. Congratulations, Reed on a job well done! You did it!

It feels wild and peaceful all at once, where memories slow down long enough to truly be felt.

Happy Graduation day, Brant! Hard to believe it's already graduation season! I have so many wonderful seniors I still need to share and Brant is one of them. It was so much fun spending the morning with him finding some cool outdoor locations that spoke to who he is. Brant is as cool as they come with a million dollar smile and a quiet, soulful spirit. He is an INCREDIBLE athlete and even had the opportunity to compete in Australia for Team USA for high jump! Way to go! He is also a standout on the football field and was pretty amazing to watch these past years. Brant, just as you reach high to jump over that bar, I hope you keep reaching high for the stars with all your talents and skills. You can do anything you put your mind to! You know you've found a meaningful job when it invites you into the hearts and homes of your clients to help tell their love story. This session was extra special because I have known Gavin and his sweet family for years and was able to photograph his graduation milestone and now I get to photograph the amazing journey of becoming a daddy! I am so happy for him and his most beautiful wife, Cemre, as they welcome their perfect baby boy, Taiga, into their first home (which they renovated together)! What a dream come true for them! And I'm sure some of you recognize the gorgeous .406 wood creations from Gavin's talented momma, Emily. Gavin and Cemre, thank you for letting me capture a small part of this season in your life.
