Tracy & Chris brought main character energy their entire day & I'm already sad we aren't back in Lake Geneva celebrating their marriage right now (the wedding blues are real over here).

Every moment was full of unstoppable excitement and so much love. You could feel it from the second their front door opened.

From getting ready with their loved ones — who quite literally welcomed us in like family — all the way to the dance floor. Though let's be honest, the dancing started in the morning because these two just couldn't stop & I'm freakin' obsessed.

I've never felt more intertwined on a wedding day than I did on 7.18.2026.

We began at home, then wandered around Lake Geneva, WI for those staple views of the lake & just these two in love. Then off to Hawk's View Golf Club to get married with all of their favorite people surrounding them.

I swear, these two moved together like their bodies and souls were in sync. They love so loudly, it makes the entire room fall in love & feel love in return.

To the Pajaks — what an honor to witness something so true and beautiful. So very much love to you both 🥹

When the kids dropped their snacks so you got a view like this 🪽

The kids were snacking on Cheetos while we were packing up the camper a few weeks back on our last day of vacation. One dropped one which led to another until they realized they could bribe the seagulls and dumped the entire bag.

Then they laid in wait until enough of them were swarming the empty campsite (& the Cheetos), and took off running, spreading their wings and caw-ing away with the seagulls taking off all around them.

While my phone wasn’t in reach I happened to be packing up my camera gear and snapped a quick shot of the crowd of new friends. I wish I took more than the few shots I got & that I had a different lens on to catch the kids flying with them in the distance, but I’m sure glad I was present for the rest of the weekend. 🥹

I’ll be sure to share our annual Redbud photo dump towards the end of the month. For now I’m still in mourning that we have to wait again until next year 😅

Portraits are canceled due to weather — until next year friends!

Declan’s very first race was at the Night Night Track for the 2025 RedBud Pro Motocross National weekend.

To say RedBud holds a special place in our hearts is an understatement.

So I wanted to share the love & bring my camera along this time to help other families document the magic when you’re going racing — and of all places, at America’s Motocross Track.

Today is my wedding anniversary.

When my then-fiancé (now husband) and I got engaged, I wish someone had held my hand and said, “Slow down.”

Because almost immediately, the questions started flying.

When’s the date?

What venue?

What’s the budget?

Can I invite my friends-sisters-cousin?

And before we even had time to process the fact that we were getting married, we were planning a wedding.

These are the reminders I wish someone had given us.

Before Pinterest.

Before venue tours.

Before spreadsheets.

Before the endless tabs you’ll inevitably open.

Stop for a second.

You’re getting married. Actually married.

To your favorite human.

The planning will be there tomorrow.

The checklists will be there tomorrow.

The opinions will definitely be there tomorrow.

But this season is happening right now.

And it matters, too.

So before you research a single photographer, florist, venue, planner, DJ, or any other wedding vendor, sit down together and talk about what matters most.

Not what you want it to look like.

What you want it to feel like.

Because the internet can show you a million weddings.

Only one of them is yours.

Save this for later if you need it.

And then go celebrate. You’re getting married and it’s a big fkin’ deal! ❤️

Ended our night with Moscow mules & salty beers — but seriously regretting not getting a Chicago dog at this point.

Rompin’ around Chicago celebrating Rachel & Mike’s engagement for an afternoon is 11/10 one of my new favorite memories. 3+ hours of adventures, wedding planning talks, and just so many long, full of laughter, conversations about life.

Is it 8.28.2027 yet?! Cannot freakin’ wait to get you two married next year & everything in between to come! 😭😭🥹🥹❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

Fresh 48 at home starring my cute squishy nephew & his 🔥 mom - but make it art.

Not even at the 48 hour mark and this sweet babe is stealing hearts left and right.

Spent our time whispering while Erika shared her labor & delivery story and admired little William. I cannot wait to see this chapter unfold. The way consecutive pregnancies evolve a mother, shifts a family, and love multiples will always bring tears to my eyes.

The way this career fills your cup is hard to describe. It’s truly such a labor of love, but I wouldn’t be able to feel the love in return without everyone who welcomes me in. God is so good. 🤍

As a reminder, family, maternity, and newborn sessions don’t need a perfectly clean home - it needs to be lived in - you’re busy making memories. Didn’t shower? I don’t care and neither do the littles who think you’re heaven on earth. The light isn’t perfect? But that’s the spot that feels like home.
