As your leading historian on Penrose & Meyer I have decided to show my studies of matching studio portraits of the artist Mike Meyers later known as Mike Disfarmer . This was a long study of nine years and 100's of real photo post cards and cabinet cards from the area of Heber Springs, Arkansas. The beginning of the Penrose and Meyer Project was formed by Brian Hubmann ( I help run most content here as Mike Disfarmer) and The Cleburne County Historical Society which has the only information to start any type of research. A special thanks to all of them. Later it was funded off the sales of the original photographs and later on by Mr Anonymous. This collection will possibly be shown at THE END here or in an area in Heber Springs. The collection refers to the rarest of all of Mike Disfarmer photographs.

My name is Brian Hubmann I graduated from Quitman in 1990 but went to HSHS from k - 10 I did nine years research on Mike Disfarmer because I had never heard of Mike Disfarmer in my whole life mostly in Cleburne County of at that time of 31 years. This research was needed for our community and greater things need to be done on our side to create tourism to our city. Many local businesses could see Main Street thriving again as tourist worldwide would come see some kind of a museum to display his roots here in Heber Springs.
I am in contact with Jackie our mayor and he has offered to talk with me on the subject. He's a great mayor to this community and after I release this information i'm sure he can appreciate its place within our community in some form museum.
