Brenna Ellis Through my photography and writing I love to tell the stories of individuals, brands and places.

2025 was all change, growth, experimentation, long awaited moments, and trying to find a balance. Looking forward to a lot more of all of the things in 2026! Let’s just see where it takes us shall we?!

Does your content feel like a shot in the dark?
Tired of posting just because you “should”?
Does writing about your business never sound like you?

Let’s talk.

You’ve got the ideas. You’ve got the know-how. You just need someone to help get the words out—and onto the page in a way that actually makes sense.

That’s what I do. I help you find the message hiding in the mess, shape your voice, and build a way to show up that feels natural, consistent, and actually you.

Whether you’re reworking what you’ve already built, need to offload part of your overflowing plate, or you just need someone to hand you a plan and say “go get ‘em”—I’ve got a service for that.

If you’re ready for some outside perspective—to look behind the curtain and spot the stuff you’re too close to see—let’s chat.
We’ll build momentum so you can keep building your dream business.

Hey, I’m Brenna—and Chair 5 is where I help business owners figure out what in the heck they’re really trying to say, and then say it!

If you’ve ever looked at your copy or content and wondered why it sounds so... basic (when you’re actually pretty damn interesting)— I got you👊

Chair 5 exists to help service-based businesses show up with clarity and with all their unfiltered awesomeness on full display. Not only on social. Everywhere.

Because here’s the thing: a lot of people skip the brand work and jump straight into posting.
Then wonder why it doesn’t feel quite right.
Or why it takes so long to write anything.
Or why it’s not landing.

When you’ve got real clarity on who you are and how you want to show up?
Everything else just clicks. Your content starts making sense. The right clients find YOU. And suddenly marketing feels less like convincing strangers and more like chatting with friends.

Chair 5 is where we zoom out to see the big picture, talk it through, zoom back in, and build something that fits you.

Think:
→ Messaging that sounds like you
→ Content that connects
→ A plan that doesn’t make you want to scream into the void
→ Dreams filled with dogs and fun mountain adventures—instead of Instagram nightmares

This is about showing up with purpose—and finally knowing what to say when you get there.

Clarity at the summit. Gaining a higher perspective.
Drop a 🐧 in the comments ya feel me!

More on how we can work together soon, just needed to break the ice.
Onwards,
Brenna

11/5/09-10/21/21

10 days after our 11 year anniversary and 2 weeks before his birthday we lost our baby boy.
For 11 years he brought so much love, laughter and anxiety into my life! He was my best buddy and the last couple weeks without him have felt empty. There are a million stories I could tell about my boy but for the sake of this post I’ll keep it short! A friend summed Reggie up pretty well after hearing of his passing, “He was a great dog to the people/dogs he loved…and to the ones he didn’t, f**k em!”
If you were lucky enough to be in his circle of trust, thank you❤️
There will forever be a 80lb lapdog sized hole in all of our hearts. I LOVE YOU .
Happy 12th birthday baby boy, I hope it’s filled with crazy leg laps, all of the Scooby toys, and plenty of pink 🥂❤️

Got in a weekend up high before the snow fell a couple of weeks ago. The colors this fall were some of the best in memory! Why can’t fall last most of the year?!

I visited Yosemite for the first time last month and it blew my mind! The scale of this place is near impossible to photograph but I tried anyway.

We spent the day getting the best locals bike tour with our world class friends/tour guides and . The next morning we headed up here to Glacier Point for sunrise and it didn’t disappoint!

While living in Oregon this was one of my favorite places to visit. My last night there this year we had one of the best sunsets I’ve ever seen! There is something so magical about watching the sun set over the ocean.
Notice the new fencing they’ve had to put up in the last couple of years to help keep people from going places they shouldn’t…the fences didn’t deter the handful of people we watched climb over the fence and walk to the cliffs edge🤬

Just because it’s been a while since I’ve had a appreciation post! For a homebody this old boy has been very tolerant of our summer on the road! His favorite stop was Idaho where he got to walk miles along the river, hangout with old friends and even make a new dog friend!
