B O U R N E Photo Studio + Gallery includes a full-service photo studio for W**e Bottle photographs, Fine Art and Product. The Gallery displays images created by Sonoma County-based photographer, Barbara Bourne, including river, ocean, vineyard and horse photography, available in a wide variety of sizes & surfaces including metal, canvas and traditional framing. Barbara Bourne is an accomplished architectural photographer and is available for shooting assignments on location in California and abroad. She photographs architecture and interiors, food & w**e and adventure assignments.

Welcome to BOURNE Studio + Gallery.

I’ve been incredibly fortunate to have had this beautiful, versatile space here in Healdsburg, California, for the past 18 years.

Today, I’m displaying my abstract landscape oil paintings alongside my landscape photography—two bodies of work that reflect my lifelong love of nature, light, color, and place.

My work is available for purchase as original oil paintings, Giclée prints, and archival metal, canvas finishes and photographic papers.

Two new oil paintings have emerged from my Healdsburg studio.

The first, Liminal Shore, was inspired by a sailboat journey off the coast of Santa Marta, Colombia, where the landscape transformed dramatically from lush tropical coastline to stark desert terrain—a place suspended between worlds, both geographic and emotional.

The second painting was inspired by the writings and experiences of Chris Bledsoe, particularly his ongoing encounters with luminous, colorful orbs. Exploring themes of mystery, connection, and the unseen, the work reflects a sense of wonder and the possibility that there is more to our reality than we can fully understand.

Together, these paintings explore thresholds—between land and sea, known and unknown, physical and spiritual.
