You want to know a secret? I edited and re-edited these photos of my own children at least 4 different times. They were taken over a month ago…And the setting it all up by myself on a week day at 8 am, while trying to keep my children clean and happy, while also not letting little hands stress out the baby ducks, well let’s just say I was flustered by the time I finally picked up my camera. But then my MJ girl saw these on my phone and started talking about how fun that morning was!
I tell parents often during a session (almost every session, actually) something along the lines of “I know it felt chaotic in the moment but I got some really good stuff!” And then I go to edit them and I’m so proud of the big smiles the babies give me, or the perfect little inside jokes from parents that prompts the biggest hug. Staring at my computer, all I see are the finest moments!
That is my biggest hope for my clients, especially the smallest ones, to create beautiful memories that outlive those short bursts of stress.
So, I’m releasing these out into the world after holding onto the stressful moments for far too long! Because let’s be real, it’s doesn’t get any cute than little girls and baby ducks. 🪿🧺🌼
