I’ve been behind the camera for so long that I sometimes forget to step in front of it. These photos were taken in February when I visited my best friend in Charleston for the very first time, one of the most soul filling trips I’ve ever taken! I came home so
refreshed and already dreaming about where to go next. Highly recommend both Charleston AND best friends. 😄
Sixteen years ago I picked up a camera and never put it down. I’ve photographed weddings in Jamaica, newborns in their first hours home, and families on the Jersey Shore at golden hour. This year I did something that felt scary- I slowed down on purpose. I’ve stepped back from weddings, simplified everything, and came back to the sessions that make my heart feel full. Newborns. Families. Maternity. The quiet, fleeting, beautiful moments.
