Today, I had the opportunity to take prom pictures for Portland Kellam. Portland attends Clawson High School and is a member of the Class of 2026, where he also runs track. This past weekend, I took his graduation pictures, but I’m going to share his prom pictures first.

Thank you for your continued support and for being a part of my photo family.

Yesterday, Kishaun Stewart broke the Hazel Park High School record in the 110-meter hurdles. The previous record of 14.8 seconds was set in 1979 by Steve AnZur.

Kishaun ran an impressive 14.70, officially becoming the new school record holder. He has also qualified for the State Championship on June 1, 2026.

Congratulations to Mr. Stewart on this outstanding accomplishment. He will still have three more opportunities this season to continue lowering the school record.

Check out some pictures from Friday’s meet at the 45th Annual Williamston Mitch Lutzke Invite! It was a great trip, and I’m proud of the way the Jedi’s competed and continued to grow.

We’re building momentum at the right time as we head toward the MAC Championship on Monday, May 11, 2026, and the Regional Championship on May 15, 2026. Let’s stay focused, keep improving, and finish the season strong!

On April 13, 2025, the Hazel Park Track & Field team traveled to Clawson for a dual meet against Clawson and Eastpointe. This marked our first league meet of the season, and we showed up ready to compete. Both our boys and girls teams came away with victories over Clawson and Eastpointe—exactly the kind of start you want in league competition.

Our 9th graders really stepped up and competed with confidence. It’s clear that the experience from the Oak Park meet helped prepare them for this moment. As a coach, it’s great to see that growth already paying off.

I’m proud of this team. They’re improving with every race and every practice, and it’s starting to show where it matters most.

The Oak Park Invitational brought out some of the top-tier teams in the area, and my Jedi’s showed up and competed strong. I’m proud of the entire team, especially our 9th grade girls who stepped up and competed against Oak Park’s squad—last year’s State Champions.

A special shoutout to senior Ki’shaun Stewart, who tied the school record in the 110 hurdles with an impressive time of 14.80!

Our boys 4x400 relay team also had a solid performance, placing 6th with a time of 3:38.62.

We’re building momentum at the right time. I’m asking everyone to come out and support the team at Regionals—it’s going to be exciting! Right now, in the 4x400 relay standings, Country Day is in 1st place and Hazel Park is right behind in 2nd.

Let’s keep pushing!

Photos by Jeff at it again!

Last week, I had the opportunity to capture Beatrice Byers’ 60th birthday celebration, themed “60 Shades of Grey.” Beatrice and I go all the way back to grade school, so this event meant a lot to me personally.

It was an amazing time—the food was great, the old-school house music had everyone moving, and I even got a chance to hit the dance floor with some of my classmates.

Thank you, Beatrice, for trusting me to capture such a special milestone. The 48203 will always hold a special place in my heart.

Welcome to the Photos by Jeff family, and thank you for continuing to support my business!
