Abby + Sam. Oh how I adored you two and the time we spent together.

I got to share a special piece of land that’s been in my family, and it turned into the most easygoing, peacefully beautiful evening. A storm was rolling in, fluffy thunderclouds overhead, and the wind was wild as ever. We laughed. I listened. He looked at her with the sweetest twinkle in his eye (no joke—he’s completely smitten), and she smiled back, fully aware she’s got him wrapped around her finger. Watching them together was something special.

Thank you for not being scared off by the weather. Thank you for tagging along with my little family, and for talking to my son like he was your tiny friend. You two were so kindhearted, genuine, and full of goodness.

I’m truly honored to capture your love story 🫶🏻

Life on the farm lately 🫶🏻

Currently juggling milking my cow every morning, keeping up with the garden, chickens, bunnies, and a wandering giant fur ball.

Y’all should have seen me yesterday in all my milkmaid glory. Here I was expecting to look like ballerina farms, turns out instagram is not reality.

Sweet Lady May decided to smack me in the face with her tail…covered in cow manure. But hey, farm life is the best life 🤎

I will forever be posting about this day, these moments, and that stinkin’ bouquet.

The way her nieces peeked in while she slipped into her dress. How her maid of honor handmade all the floral arrangements. Watching the groom’s sister cry as live worship music was sang during their ceremony. All of the laughs, tears, and giggles because the bride and groom were absolutely smitten with each other.

Every piece of this day felt personal and intentional 🫶🏻

I have found myself leaning more so into being rather than doing, which is a bit counterintuitive as a photographer.

You show up and expect to be directed, but my hope and prayer for our time together is to feel the freedom to simply be. There’s that little awkward “pause” about 20 minutes in, but the more you lean into it rather than running from it, the more natural and cozy it begins to feel. Just how I want my images to feel.

As I grow in this industry, the more l realize is this… the most meaningful imagery is when I give you space to be present. I’ve seen so many posts lately about how us photographers aren’t just shooting for our feed. And how true of a message that is. I don’t want to shoot for the sole purpose of “getting good content,” but more so for the purpose of gifting you the moments, the seasons, the stories that are meaningful.

Because Lord knows, everyday I ask for time to slow down. As a mama, I don’t want to miss a single moment-not a single one. They are way too precious. Way too fleeting. So here I am, trying to carry that same heart in my work. To honor the beauty of your presence. Whether that is with your family, your loved one, or simply in a quiet season of life. That is the goal. That is my why 🫶🏻

So if that feels good, let’s document together. I’ll follow your lead, and make you feel at-home.
