Water shoots were one of my absolute fave sessions of the summer!….but man am I ready for FALL! All the Fall decor is out & I might have already started decorating🥴 I can’t wait for some colder weather, pie baking, and pumpkin everything🍂 Whos with me?!?

Running around the fair chasing these two had me craving deep fried oreos. One of my fave parts about carnivals is the greasy food and games. Real talk though, Have you ever won a goldfish? Did it live more than a week? 🐠

I don’t know about y’all, but I love a hot bubble bath to relax!
Of course now a days as a mom, bubble baths include about 50 toys, bath crayons scribbled on the walls, and two splashing girls 😂 But I’ve heard some people find baths gross.....so lets settle the debate, are you team shower or team bath?!

One of my couples I had the pleasure of doing a maternity session for last week mentioned to me that they felt awkward taking pictures of their pregnancy & didn’t want to make a big deal out of it. My response?

MAKE IT A BIG DEAL!

Get dressed up, take the photos, and cherish every moment. The journey that led you to becoming parents isn’t something to just get through, it’s something to remember. Those 9 months growing your baby are so precious and fleeting, having those photos to look back on is a special memory

My 3 year old has been BEGGING me for a dog lately, so every time one of my couples brings their pup to a session it makes me wanna get her one😩 But then I think about all the work it takes to own a dog and y’all I dont have the energy for that😂 So I’m torn....should the Hammonds add a pup to the fam?!

In-home maternity sessions have my whole heart right now. Getting to see couples get comfy & intimate in their own space is a whole ‘nother thing.

Becoming first time parents, all we want is to be perfect for our babies. But theres no such thing as a perfect parent, be a real parent. Teach them unconditional love. Show them the right way to treat others. Allow them to learn from their mistakes. Tell them that they are enough just the way they are. That they can always do and be anything they aspire to be.
Our kids are our future & what our future needs is strong, confident beings
