Good Morning Hayesville!!
Yesterday we had a customer lose their keys at our shop, unfortunately we believe that another customer inadvertantly picked them up thinking they were theirs. So if you happened to end up with an extra set of keys yesterday (10/20), please drop them by the shop so we can get them back to the rightful owner!

Meet Rachel!!

She's the newest person to join our team. I think Robert may have bribed her somehow... witnesses state they watched him run out of the shop after her to offer her a job (while Jill was on her first extended "vacation"). So the poor woman hasn't had much proper training. She was a teacher at Hayesville, working with the yearbook team and comes with a background and passion for writing. She also happens to be another church member of Roberts...another pattern maybe...?

While she's picking things up and learning the entire scope of everything Prints Plus has to offer (which is difficult on its own) she's still one of the many smiling faces you'll see as you come in to prints plus! Ok sometimes we might be ready to pull our hair out, but we're keeping busy!

Rachel has been an asset so far, and even in her less than stellar training and limited days here at the shop she has been doing great work for our customers. You'll also see her down at Stardance Performing Arts with her daughter Emma, and probably also driving Emma around to all her other extra curricular activities. When she's not here at the shop she also is a freelance writing and can help with a variety of writing styles and formats (just don't send her too much business, we kind of like having her here)!

Meet Christen!

Christen is one of our newest employees, she's been learning the ins and outs of design and what we can do here. She's had a rough beginning, with Jill being gone for those extended "vacations" but she is doing amazing! We are so grateful to have her a part of our Prints Plus Family and can't wait to see what she does next! She very well could give the rest of us a run for our money with how quickly she is picking things up and rocking it!

She is a wonderful mom of 3 and has been a stay at home mom homeschooling all the kids since they were young. So we knew if she had the patience to homeschool 3 kids, she had the patience to work for Robert...I mean uh... the strength and creativy to work in a fast paced and goofy enviorment... It also helped that she enjoys music and sings with Robert's wife Monya in The Mountain Community Chorus!

Meet Georgann!!
She keeps our shop going. She doesn't really have a title, but if she did it would definitely be QUEEN OF THE SHOP! She knows the ins and outs of everything. She's our customer service super star, answering phones, helping customers in the shop (sometimes multiple at a time so the rest of us can keep working on orders), keeping track of supplies and finishing all our products. She truly is our MVP. Georgann has been with us for over 4 years now. She started 3 days a week working 4 hour days.... She now works more than anyone! She opens AND closes and keeps us moving forward, we'd be lost without her!

You'll find her at Robert's church (that's how he convinced her to come work here), enjoying bible study with the ladies, selling items at places like the pickers barn or just out back at Dad's Mini Storage when the weather is nice and she's not working here. She, just like Robert and Jill, can't sit still either!! Hmm I'm beginning to notice a pattern....

Meet Jill!
(The one who took said extended "vacations") But she had good reason!

She's our manager here at Prints Plus. She's been with us for 6 years now and enjoys giving Robert a run for his money. He doesn't get to be the only Jokester at the shop! You may not always see her, because she's usually in the back with her face in the computer working on orders as well as the fun adminstrative stuff. If you have an odd project or want to try something we don't already offer she's your girl to figure out if we can help.
Jill's the most knowledgable in regards to our Professional Art Supplies. She may not be an artist herself, but she has dabbled with a lot of things and played pretend for a while in school...she claims she can't paint or draw so she finds other things to be creative with...like working here!

She, like Robert, also can't just do one thing, so she works at Sundance Grill in Hiawassee a couple nights a week and you may also see her out and about doing craft shows selling her crocheted stuffed animals. And if she's not super far behind with creating them, you may even find some in the shop!

We've had some big changes here at the shop this year, so we thought we should officially introduce ourselves!

Meet Robert!
He's the owner here at Prints Plus. But you really won't see him here often (unless someone decides to take an extended "vacation"...twice...back to back (that someone is Jill)).

You'll see him around town as Commander of the American Legion Post 532, Preaching at Hayesville Church of Christ and just generally keeping busy and giving back to our community. If you do happen to see him in the shop, he's probably printing stuff for the church or the legion, or more than likley he's come by to bug the girls and chit chat with the customers! But we like him enough, he's a pretty good boss, just don't tell him we said that!
