Friends, I've officially started my SIXTEENTH Photography Season and just want to say two small things....and if you've ever used my services please take 3 minutes to read! Even if you haven't used my services, please take 3 minutes to read 😂

First, I'm kind of proud of myself. I love photography, dating back to when my Grandma Betty bought me a little Kodak film camera at a garage sale when I was 6. ❤️ For as long as I can remember, camera in my hand has felt like "HOME." I was able to take that love and make something of it for 16 years!

And most importantly....a huge thank you to all of my clients. My tried and true, my newbies, and everything in between. For 16 years, you've allowed me the blessing and opportunities to provide for my family and their passions, to celebrate Christmas/holidays/birthdays, and overall create a life! I do not take that blessing lightly! Also, I cherish not only being able to love the art of this profession, but the people I've encountered every step of the journey.

Thank you for continuing to support us, believe in me, and trust my work! I'm incredibly grateful for these gifts, and just wanted to be able to share that feeling ❤️

*PS....Yes, I'm going to continue in my other passion in the fall, teaching incredible students with a special team. But I'm not slowing down my photography any time soon!

Tom and Ashley | Engagement

Yesterday's engagement session with Tom and Ashley almost didn't happen the way we planned! 🌧️💨

After watching the forecast all day, dodging torrential downpours and what felt like gale-force winds, it seemed like Mother Nature wasn't exactly on our side. But just when we thought we'd be battling the weather all evening, the skies cleared and gifted us the most beautiful, calm summer night.

These two have had a whirlwind romance and engagement, as anyone who has been there (myself included!)....when you know, you know. ❤️ The way they look at each other and laugh together made it pretty easy to see why they're so sure.

We shared plenty of laughs, had some fun, and captured so many sweet moments along the way.

Tom and Ashley, thank you for trusting me to tell a small part of your story. I hope you enjoy your sneak peak!

From rival swim teams in high school to standing hand in hand at the alter, some people are simply meant to find their way back to each other.

They followed their dreams, took different paths, and still ended up exactly where they were supposed to be,

Sweet, steady, deeply in love, and the perfect compliment to one another.....capturing a love like Noah and Madi's is something I never take for granted. What a privilege it was to capture the beginning of this next chapter!
