I spent 19 days behind the camera since the beginning of September. I photographed eight preschools (roughly 500 kiddos), seven families, one newborn, one Gala, and one ribbon cutting. I have 15 more schools, and 27 more days behind the camera before my busy season comes to an end. By the time this weekend comes around, I'm usually desperately in need of a break. I decided to take my son and go to my happy place, the mountains. I am so glad I did! It was the perfect place to recharge and relax. It was a quick trip but just what we both needed.

This week was a busy one!

I photographed 150 kids 5 years old and under at two different preschools in Beverly & Wilmington

At least a dozen class photos

A handful of staff photos

A ribbon cutting event for the amazing YWCA Northeastern Massachusetts that just opened a new space for victims of s*x crimes, domestic violence and human trafficking to meet with counselors and advocates, and to host workshops for survivors. Just one year ago this space was where victims of human trafficking were once forced to live. The CEO Maricelis Ortiz put it perfectly when she said “We cannot change what happened here in the past. But we can absolutely change what happens here next. This one made my heart feel so full. I cried as I drove away from there. Especially seeing their space dedicated to supporting children. I visited this location just minutes after I finished photographing a preschool. This is such a wonderful organization and I am so appreciative for the support that they give to the women and children in our community.

I ended my week today photographing 5 Families on this gorgeous sunny Saturday @ the beautiful Old Wild Farm PYO flower farm in Haverhill.

September you were good to me. I spent 12 days behind the camera. I photographed a family portrait session, a newborn, the Merrimack Valley YMCA Gala, and six preschools (300+ kiddos).

This month I'll be behind the camera for about 20 days. I have nine preschools on the books (600+kiddos), multiple family portraits, and some senior portraits as well.

In a blink of an eye Summer flew by and it's already September. Today kick starts my 19th Fall season as a preschool photographer. I photographed almost 40 preschoolers today and they really made my day. It was a great start to the season. So many giggles and smiles. It feels so good to be back. 📸😁
