I apologize greatly for never posting here. I don’t think I will ever be the best at posting honestly, so I cannot say I’ll do better! I have been SO busy lately, and absolutely love all the familiar faces. I love love love what I do. Thank you for choosing me to capture your life’s moments. Truly the biggest honor!

Hi friends!

I am still here, still doing sessions just taking on even less this year. Prioritizing my own family, and things of that nature!

I absolutely adore capturing this family as they grow. It’s so special capturing their growth and being apart of their journey! Truly the biggest honor to me. I love this little hobby of mine! 📷 🌱

Please invite me to document your family blowing bubbles, reading books, and picking wild berries more often. This is me BEGGING! I am such a sucker for the real & candid moments in parenthood, even if they may not seem so photo worthy. I don’t think anyone would ever regret getting photos taken. Certainly not me!

Hi friends!

Long time no post…. if you’ve noticed i’ve been a little more MIA than my typical lack of posting it’s because we have welcomed our second sweet baby into our fam! I keep my personal life sorta under the wraps on social media, so most of you probably didn’t even know we were expecting! Unless of course you saw me arrive super pregnant to our session. 🤪

Now that miss girl has arrived, i’m easing my way back into what I love! Honestly I have loved all the newborn snuggles, but am getting a bit stir crazy despite only taking a few weeks off. All this late night nursing has provided me the opportunity to do a bit of rebranding which has been much needed. I feel like the last two years of me discovering my passion for photography has been more of a soft launch into my business. However, I want to get a bit more creative, active, and just dive into it a little further rather than just splash my feet in the water. I feel like I am finally in such a great position to do so, and finally able to dedicate time into this whole thing! Couldn’t be more excited. I had my first session back last weekend, and have a few more on the agenda this upcoming month! Very grateful for a full but yet not stressful what so ever kinda schedule. I really love my clients, and am so excited to keep on capturing lives! Truly such an honor.

hi friends!!

Dropping in with a very late night post, as I remember I haven’t posted in AGES but still have been booking like CRAZY. I don’t think i’ll ever be better at posting, social media just is not my thing and it’s not something I care to make my thing. I’ve been focusing on doing what I love, documenting little seasons of life for every family that crosses my path. Nothing fills my cup more! ☕️

Here’s some itty bitty detail shots. I did this sweet family’s photos a year ago, and loved seeing how much has changed. There are so many things I wish I could freeze in time, especially as a mother. The sweetest hand holds, little ears, dirty fingernails. Ugh, give me all of it. Since no one has quite figured out how to freeze time, I suppose photos will do. 🕰️

p.s. : I have touched base with those waiting on galleries, but just want to say thank you to those waiting. This week has been unexpectedly hectic and busy caring for a sick toddler who just needs his mama. Although it’s forced me to rest along with him, it’s put me a bit behind in editing & gallery delivery. I appreciate everyone who is so understanding— which is actually all of you. I couldn’t be more thankful to be so understood and valued by my customers. Thank you 100x

A little late night post action, as I realize I literally have so many things I want to post…

Posting more from a super successful round of flight line minis! I seriously can NOT get enough of these.

Topic chaaange— I am sitting down to plan my mood board for mother’s day minis in spring! I absolutely cannot WAIT. I’m thinking floral, bright, airy, and very documentary style. Motherhood is something I am truly so so passionate about capturing. As I narrow down things I prefer to shoot, motherhood will always be at the very top of my list. I feel so honored i’m chosen to document motherhood for so many. 🎞️

Had the sweetest little fam sesh this last week!

With it being slow(er) season, I have been taking some much needed time to rest & work on my craft! I have been having some serious imposter syndrome, because the cold makes me wonder if I should be a darker photographer. I love love looove the dark & moody cinematic feel, but at the end of the day.. it’s not me! I really love a good true to color, bright & airy moment. I don’t really change colors much in my photos, if they’re more green, it’s because there’s more greenery. If they’re warmer, it’s because there is less green. I personally love love love the color green, it just reminds me of spring & life. I think that’s why I will always always always just be true to myself and my style when it comes to this hobby of mine. True to color, true to me! I love that.

I hope everyone has a warm and cozy day, I know where we are from & where we live now both have winter storms coming their way! So I hope everyone stays nice and safe!

Forever posting alll the little details! Sweet Carter Austin with his beautiful family.

After this session I got home and immediately just wanted to snuggle my almost two year old. Seeing such a tiny baby made me realize he’s has gotten so so big in such a short time period. Made my heart break a little bit, but I seriously love the little boy he’s grown into. I wish I would have taken more photos of him as a newborn, but with my husband leaving for a deployment shortly after he was born, and navigating solo parenthood with a newborn, photos were the last thing on my mind. I always encourage new parents to take ALL the photos! Professional or not, you will never ever ever regret them.
