Jack is a •BIG• brother!

And there’s absolutely no one better to show his little sister the ropes and take her along on all the adventures life has to offer.

I can already picture the hunting feathers they’ll collect, the coolest rocks they’ll find, the muddy little adventures they’ll have, and all the memories they’ll make.
She’s one lucky little girl to have Jack leading the way. Big brother adventures are the very best kind!

Layla Kate is ONE! 🎂🤍

We had big plans for a sweet little smash cake session… and Layla Kate had other plans. 😂 She absolutely hated that cake from start to finish, but somehow, between the tears and the very strong opinions, we still managed to capture some of the sweetest photos.

And honestly? That’s real life. Not every baby loves the cake. Not every session goes perfectly. Sometimes the most memorable photos are the ones that tell the whole story. 🤍

Jack is FOUR!

Mom asked me to simply follow him around and capture him doing what he loves most, and this quickly became one of my favorite milestone sessions ever.

We ran, we played, we belly laughed, and we soaked up all the little moments that make this age so special.

I don’t want perfectly posed. Give me the dirty toes, the wild hair, and all the little things that mean the most to them. These are the memories I want you to have forever. 🥹

Congratulations to my sweet mama on officially becoming a licensed funeral director! 🤍

My mama has spent so much of her life selflessly pouring into my brother and me, always putting her family first. So watching her accomplish something that is entirely for herself makes my heart so incredibly happy.

She has found such a beautiful sense of purpose in this work. She often tells me how fulfilling it is to be able to honor someone’s final wishes and help families through one of the most difficult moments of their lives. I can’t think of anyone more compassionate, caring, and deserving of that calling.

We are so thankful that she gets to do this work alongside the wonderful people at Pinehaven Funeral Home, who have given her the opportunity to pursue something that has become so meaningful to her.

Mama, we are SO proud of you. Not just for earning your license, but for continuing to pursue something that brings you fulfillment and purpose. You have spent your life celebrating and caring for everyone else, and now it’s our turn to celebrate you. 🤍

What a beautiful name for a perfect baby girl!
It was such a joy watching Riley step into motherhood + Vivi already has her daddy wrapped!

And can we talk about this gorgeous evening?One of my favorite things about newborn sessions is that they don’t have to happen indoors. Outdoor newborn sessions create such a soft, timeless feel while giving your family room to relax, cuddle, and simply enjoy being together.
