I second shot a wedding for Morby Photography in October and am now allowed to show the images. (There’s a 2 month window where I can’t post to give the main photographers time to edit and deliver to clients.) This was an interesting wedding during a low time(?) in corona virus numbers. The ceremony was still indoors but everything else was either outdoors or in a well ventilated open space so it wasn’t too bad. I stayed with the groom and his groomsmen until cocktail hour where I grabbed shots of the location and guests. And the location was only about 15 minutes from my house so bonus points to the happy couple! If you need a reasonably priced wedding photographer, contact me to schedule a consultation.

Have you ever in been in the woods in Alabama in August? What about right after a hurricane has come close while in the woods in Alabama in August? No? Well let me tell you, if you haven't then you don't know the definition of humidity. So humid. So muddy. Got pretty lucky with the rain though so that was a nice surprise. The finals were inside a big sports complex building so it could've been much worse. Air conditioning is your friend.

I was out at the BuxMont Classic Championship game Wednesday night in Harleysville. It was more of a defensive game with lots of strikeouts and fly/pop ups but the intensity was high the entire game. For a lot of these kids it's the last time they'll play together before going off to college in whatever the sports landscape looks like in this new COVID affected world. North Penn had a 1-0 lead for the majority of the game, with their starting pitcher retiring 12 of the 13 batters he faced without giving up a hit. But Souderton always seems to hang around until the final out, forcing extra innings in the bottom of the seventh and then winning 2-1 in the extra frame. I made the trek out to Reading the other night to shoot some of the Royersford vs the Colonial Baseball Assoc game. There's an added something special when you're a kid and you get to play in a minor league stadium. Hell, I'm 38 and play on a men's league team and we get to play in a minor league stadium every once in a while and it's always awesome.

Last week I was down at the DE Turf Facility for Inside Lacrosse magazine to cover their Invitational tournament hosting some of the top high school aged players in the country. It was hot and I had some focusing issues downfield due to the heat waves coming off the field but I was just happy to be out shooting again. Hopefully things start to pick up again. I was asked to do a senior session as well as a family session for a lovely family a couple weeks ago. Senior sessions aren't really a thing in this region, but are huge in other parts of the country. Contact me to schedule your senior session and be a trend setter! Finished going through my edits on a selection of my shots from last week's ASA archery competition in London, KY. I think I did a little better this time around than my last archery tournament. Although the sport is very static and repetitive, it forces you to get creative and look for the moments between moments to try and capture something fresh and new.
