County Fair and jackpot season is here, so I wanted to throw out a quick reminder…

If a photo has a watermark on it, it isn’t just for funsies!
It’s because it hasn’t been purchased yet🙃

I know most people understand that, but every year I still see watermarked photos getting screenshotted, cropped, reposted, and used as profile pictures.

The kids usually don’t know any better.
The adults do 😉

When photographers provide photos to a show or committee for advertising, that doesn’t mean those photos are free for personal use. If you want the photo for yourself, there’s almost always an option to purchase it and receive a clean, high-resolution version without the watermark.

And just so everyone knows, we see it. 🤍
Even if you think we won’t, we will;)

We see the screenshots.
We see the profile pictures.
We see the photos saved from Facebook.

If you love a photo enough to save it, share it, send it to Grandma, or post it online, please consider supporting the photographer who spent their weekend in the heat, dust, mud, rain, and show rings capturing those memories.
