The HWC Hornets had their Senior night on Thursday. They played in fog & rain. It was fun!! I was able to capture a few photos even with the crappy weather. Congrats to all the Seniors. You will be missed next year.

I got to have fun today shooting the amazing Bio Girls. They ran a K5 and did awesome. All the girls were total rock stars and ran their best race. Always so fun to go cheer these young girls on.

Since we are consumed in a Winter Wonderland I thought I would post some images of our trip to Duluth for the Bentlyville Tour of Lights. It was fantastic. I know you may have seen some of them, but here are a few others. Camera Practice!! The cold that caused the sea smoke was so beautiful and then the frost on the trees. It was just perfect. Everything was so gorgeous.

The last 2 weeks I have had the pleasure of spending time in and around Duluth. I wanted to work on some photography skills, chase ships morning day and night... sometimes up 2 times a night- and capture images of sunrises, and collect rocks. I had a blast. Many times only me and my camera at 2am when the ships would come in. Bob was not the free spirit adventurer as I was and stayed home and kept the bed warm! 😉 I would go home and get back up again at 5:30 for sunrise. Very little sleep was had, but the outcome was well worth it. I shot in rain/fog/ and mist. Most of the time the light was perfect. We rode a gondola to the top of Lutsen Mountain and saw the fall changing colors... It was beautiful. A perfect vacation. Some skills still need perfecting, but I think I made progress!
