Some of the sweetest details are the ones that change before you even realize it. 🤍
The tiny wrinkles on their feet. The way their little fingers wrap around yours. That curly newborn hair that hasn’t even had its first wash yet. Every little line, every tiny feature, and all those sweet moments in the hospital when your baby is brand new.
There is just something about those first 48 hours that you can never get back.
You're exhausted, you're soaking in every second, and you're getting to know this tiny little person you've waited so long to meet. And before you know it, you're planning their first birthday, wondering how an entire year could have possibly gone by so fast.

I know I’ve been pretty MIA on here lately, but I promise that doesn’t mean I haven’t been behind my camera. 🤍

Actually, quite the opposite. I’ve been out photographing families almost nightly, soaking up this busy season, and doing what I’ve always loved.

I also know there are so many families patiently waiting for their galleries right now, and I want you to know how much I truly appreciate your patience and understanding. We’ve had a lot of life changes happening behind the scenes lately, and I’m doing my best to balance it all while giving each gallery the time and attention it deserves.

But there’s also another reason this page has been a little quieter, and it’s something I’ve been thinking about for quite some time.

As a mom, I’ve become more and more intentional about what I share online, especially when it comes to children. I don’t share my own girls publicly, and I’ve reached a point where I no longer feel comfortable using other people’s children to advertise my photography business either.

And while I know social media is such a huge part of running a business these days, I also know that I don’t need to constantly post photos of your babies to prove that I’m still doing what I love.

So moving forward, you probably won’t see nearly as many sessions shared here. You might not see me posting very often at all, and that’s okay with me.

I’m still here. I’m still booking sessions, spending my evenings with your families, editing your galleries, and documenting all those little moments that go by way too fast.

The only thing changing is how much of that work I choose to share publicly.

To every family who continues to trust me with their memories, refers their friends, comes back year after year, and supports this little business of mine, thank you. It means more than you’ll ever know.

A quiet social media page doesn’t mean a quiet photography business. 🤍

9/9 has always been my day… but this year, I’m giving myself something a little different for my birthday. 🤍

I’ve been quietly working on something BIG behind the scenes FOR YOU!

Something that takes pieces of what I’ve spent years building, and what I already love doing, … and finally brings it all together.

📸 LOCAL SMALL BUSINESSES + HOME SERVICE PROS!

I’m on the hunt for a few local businesses who may be interested in bartering services for a family photography session valued at $700.

Right now, I’m specifically looking for:

🎨 Interior painting
Two girls’ bedrooms painted, with the possibility of wallpaper on one accent wall in each room.

🧺 Pantry organization / makeover
I’d love help creating a functional, organized pantry, whether that means an organization system, shelving, containers, layout, etc.

✨ Professional home organization
Closets, laundry spaces, kitchen organization, or other areas that could use a little help!

The services absolutely do not have to equal exactly $700. If your service or project costs more than the value of my family session, I’m completely willing to pay the difference.

In exchange, you’ll receive a full family photography session valued at $700, including your professionally edited digital gallery.

✨ Just a reminder, there’s only 24 hours left to save $200 on your session. If you’ve been thinking about booking, now is the perfect time before this special offer ends.

There is something so special about documenting a family exactly as they are.

This summer, I spent the evening with a family doing what they genuinely love together… fishing. 🎣 There weren’t perfectly posed smiles every second. There weren’t matching outfits or elaborate setups. There were laughs, conversations, little moments, and memories that would have happened whether I was there or not.

Those are the photos that end up meaning the most.

As a mom, I completely understand the decision to keep your children’s photos off the internet.

It’s actually something I do with my own girls.

Because of that, I want every family who books with me to know this: if you prefer that your images are never shared on my Facebook, Instagram, website, or any other public platform, I will always respect that. Your gallery will remain private and protected, and your images are yours to share… or not share.

Hiring me as your photographer does not mean you’re signing up to become part of my marketing. Whether your reason is privacy, safety, your child’s future digital footprint, or simply personal preference, you never have to explain it to me. My job is to capture your family’s memories, not expect anything in return beyond the opportunity to serve you.

With that said, if you’ve been thinking about booking a session, I have a little gift for you.
