Not the perfectly posed ones, but the ones in between—the laughter, the glances, the genuine joy, and the emotions that can’t be staged.

And while I know I said a while back that I was stepping away from weddings, the truth is they’ll always have a special place in my heart and I can’t always say no🤣🤪🙃 Weddings are one of the reasons I fell in love with photography in the first place!

What makes this season even sweeter is that Allison isn’t a new client. Years ago, I photographed her UAH graduation photos, and I also had the honor of photographing her sister’s wedding. There is truly nothing more meaningful to me than growing alongside families and clients through the years, celebrating milestone after milestone together.

I can’t wait to celebrate these two in May 2027🥹🤍

Best of the Best 2026 🤍📷🐾🩷

In a season of mourning and loss, it feels strange to share a win. If I’m being honest, I haven’t felt much like the “best of the best” lately. But y’all voted, and because of that, RAW Images was named Best Photographer once again. As an unexpected bonus, I also won Best Female-Owned Business.

As I was looking through old photos this week, I realized: there has never been photography without Bud.

I adopted him in July of 2016 and bought my first camera the following December. From stray to studio dog, Bud went from “I’m scared, don’t touch me” to “I’m always here for you and anyone around you.”

He was my registered ESA, my shadow, my road-trip buddy, and my faithful companion. He went to the beach with me for sessions, sat beside me in the studio, greeted countless clients, and followed me through nearly every chapter of this business.

There has never been a Best of the Best win without Bud there beside me😭💔

Looking back, I wish I had taken these photos sooner. Like everyone, my life is busy. I kept thinking there would be more time, but there wasn’t.

So let this be your reminder: book the session. Take the pictures. Get in front of the camera. Capture the memories now, not when life slows down.. because sometimes tomorrow looks different than today.

My heart is heavy, but it is also grateful.

Grateful for every client who trusts me with their memories. Grateful for every vote. Grateful for a little stray dog who helped build this business alongside me. And grateful for a God who remains faithful in every season.

He gives and He takes away. Blessed be the name of the Lord.

The FULL graduation gallery for HHS is officially uploaded🎓❤️

All I can say is… WOW.

As I close out this school season and my final post about it all, I just want to say one more thank you. Thank you for the love, support, encouragement, patience, kind words, shared posts, purchases, and for trusting me to capture such an important milestone in your lives.

This opportunity meant more to me than I could ever fully put into words. Getting to serve my alma mater and this community over the past year has been one of the greatest honors of my career. From cap & gown sessions, to homecoming and prom, to candid moments, to watching these seniors walk across the stage smiling at my camera — I’ll carry these memories with me for a lifetime!

One thing this year reminded me of is how important connection, community, and supporting small businesses truly are. When you choose to shop local and support small, you’re supporting families, dreams, late nights, hard work, and people who genuinely care about the community they serve. That support for me and my small business never went unnoticed, and I will forever be grateful for every single one of you🥹

I’m filled with so much joy and gratitude going through all of these graduation photos🥹🎓🤍

During graduation practice, they handed me the mic so I could tell the graduates where I’d be standing and where to look as they walked (they’re lucky I didn’t start singing Wicked🤪🩷💚) I told them to smile at me or show a little personality… and man, did they deliver🥹

Most (not all 😂 but MOST) looked right at me and smiled as they walked past, and it reminded me just how much connection and being personable truly matter.

This job was never just about taking pictures for me. It was about making people feel seen, celebrated, and comfortable enough to be themselves in front of my camera. Forever grateful for the opportunity I had this year. Without a doubt, one of my favorite jobs ever🤍
