For over 10 years, that interest was devoted towards sports photography and journalism, which oddly enough earned recognition from the Wall Street Journal. (July 2, 2014.) But after focusing on sports for a number of years, I am yearning to focus on a new challenge. Oddly enough, that new challenge has presented itself to me in the form of portrait photography of cosplayers. While it might seem like an odd next step, I find that the two share many parallels. Since I am relatively new to the field of “cosplay photography”, I am offering my services free of charge. (Tips are still welcomed.) Perhaps you want your picture taken at an upcoming convention? Or perhaps you need someone with a good camera to do a photoshoot of you in some public location that fits your character? Send me an email and perhaps we can work something out! Regions I serve:
Though I am based out of Western Mass, I cover the following areas: the greater Boston area, Western Mass, Connecticut, and by special request only, Providence Rhode Island. What I offer:
- Free photo session
- Raw copy of the good photos (I will only give you bad photos if requested.)
- A touch-up of a photo or two of my choice. (More possible by request.) I also do videography, so I can capture action shots and poses on video as well if you want. I can’t promise to do any video editing for free unless they are extremely light edits. (Video editing is time consuming, so I have to charge for that.) But it is something we can discuss. What I don’t offer:
- photography in a studio environment (not possible .. I don’t have a studio)
- Deep color grading of photos (must be done at a cost since it is time consuming)
- heavy video editing (must be done at a cost since it is time consuming)
- heavy photo edits (must be done at cost due to time ... and only if if it something I can even do)
