Some snaps I captured during SAVE FACE set during Shoreline Summer Festival 🤘🏻

Second time seeing this NJ punk-rock group live, and thankful I was able to photograph them this time. Their overall vibe, aesthetic, and stage presence alone is enough to draw in a crowd. Once they start performing, you’ll be put in a trance. Highly recommend giving them a listen, a follow, and catching one of their shows!

Another CT-based group I was able to photograph. Getting a chance to discover them by seeing them live definitely left an outstanding impression. Everyone had so much energy, and the crowd mirrored that perfectly. Highly recommend giving them a listen, and a follow to catch one of their next shows!!

For those of you who don’t know 𝗠𝗔𝗝𝗢𝗥 𝗠𝗢𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 ,they are independent artists who like many of us, are chasing a dream to share their voice and talent with the world. Not only are they incredibly outspoken with their powerful lyrics, they are also very chill and down to earth people who truly enjoy connecting with and getting to know their fans.

I highly recommend giving this Boston-based metalcore band a follow, steaming their music, and attending one of their many upcoming performances.

I had the opportunity to capture 📸 last month’s event, hosted by Just Junelle at CT Winery🍷CT Cidery🍺 CT Craft Beer 🍷

Soft Life Sunday focuses on bringing women together to enjoy all sorts of different experiences and connect with one another.

The evening was full of charcuterie, amazing music, raffle prize winners, meaningful conversations, and lots of laughter all around.

In addition to the good vibes, the additional activities included an instructed painting class hosted by The Paint Bar CT , as well as an opportunity to purchase curated permanent jewelry by Permanent Jewelry & Custom Stainless Steel Jewerly ✨

When Brianna & Jake (whom requested to not be tagged) first inquired about their engagement session, they asked if I would be able to help pose coach them - which I always am more than happy to do with anyone in front of my lens!

During their entire session, I found myself not having to do much other than pressing my button. You can feel the love and admiration they have for each other, just by being in their presence. 🥰

I am very much looking forward to working with these two delightful people again in the future. 🫶🏻

Nostalgia - adj. a bittersweet emotional state characterized by a sentimental longing or affectionate yearning for the past

Over 20-something years ago, I visited this park for the first time with my grandparents. This soon became a tradition every summer; having picnics in the park, buying our own roses to plant at home, visiting the Pond House Cafe, and many more.

Life always has unique ways of challenging us to grow, and for many years I had lived in many different cities until moving back to Connecticut a few years ago. I found myself revisiting some beloved childhood places- Elizabeth Park being one of the few I frequently visited most.

These particular photographs are captured with the intention of providing that nostalgic feeling. However they resonate with you, may they provide a sense of calm, and comfort.

Let’s get vulnerable for a moment.

Many of us are no strangers to the struggles that is our own minds.

Myself included.

Speaking from experience, those times can convince us we are unloveable, a burden on those around us, and deserve to suffer.

When in reality, we are worthy of: Love. Acceptance. Understanding. Compassion. Community.

These photos are a result of a passion project to hopefully convey that exact message. If these images resonated with you in any way, I hope they bring you a sense of comfort or understanding.

Believe me when I say, I had such a hard time narrowing down my favorites to post of these two bundles of joy! ☀️🌾

Erin & Alec were such a delight to work with, between the inside jokes, the authentic moments, and the laughter shared through out the photo session.
