Carla Ten Eyck is a joyful + inclusive photographer, based in Hartford CT, ready to travel New England + beyond for your branding session, elopement or wedding. She celebrates light and emotion and is not scared of having her clients see her as she sees them, boldly embracing their eye contact with her camera and establishing a deeper connection with her clients in the process. to your event with her eyes up and her heart open will leave you laughing and weeping as you eagerly look through the images from your event. She received her BFA in photojournalism from the prestigious Rochester Institute of Technology in 1995. Her photojournalism field work includes interning at The Hartford Courant, The Rochester Democrat and Chronicle / Times Union and The Associated Press in New York City. Carla’s segue into documenting weddings was natural and combined her best skill sets of photographing people, moments and emotions with style, beauty and a sense of humor. Carla also has amazing crowd control skills! Maybe being one of nine children helped with that?
