A dreamy sunrise at Hawksbill Crag — one of the most iconic overlooks in Arkansas. ✨

I’ve grown up here around the Buffalo National River, and somehow these places still manage to take my breath away.

When you work with me, you get a whole lot more than someone just showing up with a camera. You get ALL of my local knowledge + my planning brain, too.

I’ve got location guides, wardrobe guides, years of exploring this area, and I genuinely LOVE helping my couples dream up a day that feels like them — whether that means finding the perfect spot, helping build a timeline, figuring out logistics, or just being the person you can reach to when you have a million questions.

I’m even ordained and registered in Arkansas, so if you need someone to make it official, I can do that too. 🥰🤗

If you’re new here, welcome! If you’ve been following along for a while, thank you. Truly. It means the world.

I’m Sara! I’m a wedding + elopement photographer living in the beautiful Ozark Mountains of Arkansas, and somehow I get to make a living photographing people in love in really beautiful places. Still kinda can’t believe that tbh. 🥲

I’m passionate about capturing couples who want their wedding day to feel meaningful, relaxed, and totally true to who they are. I’m a gal that wants to capture all the real, beautiful moments of your day. The big stuff and all that meaningful, quiet in-between stuff too. 

The Ozark Mountains in Arkansas are my home, and I’ve spent my life exploring sweeping overlooks, quiet trails, and the beautiful corners around the Buffalo National River. It never fails to take my breath away. But I’m ALWAYS down to go somewhere new, too.. ✈️

My husband Joseph and I eloped in Italy in 2024 — just the two of us, a 3 a.m. wake-up call, wedding clothes packed across the world, and one heck of an adventure. So I have a pretty big soft spot for couples who look at the traditional wedding rulebook and decide to do things a little differently.

Arkansas based, traveling wherever your story takes us.

Counting the DAYS until these two tie the knot in NASHVILLE, TN and I couldn’t be more excited!

I’ve enjoyed getting to know these guys so much over the last year. I simply cannot wait to see them again and document their special day. Two of the warmest, funniest people I’ve ever met.

Sometimes that means giving you a super simple prompt like this one and letting you interpret it in a way that feels like you.

Other times I will give you more direction so you know exactly what to do and don’t have to wonder where to put your hands or how to move.

my goal is to never make you feel like you’re performing for the camera. I want to give you enough guidance so that you can relax for yourselves and have photos feel most like you.
