Dear Dads,

The family photoshoot probably wasn’t your idea.

You may have been dragged out of the house, asked to wear a shirt you wouldn’t normally pick and reminded not to put your phone in your pocket because it shows in the photos.

But thank you for showing up.

Thank you for bringing a good attitude, making silly faces to get your kids to laugh, carrying snacks, fixing flyaway hairs and jumping into every hug, tickle fight and cuddle.

Your kids may not remember every detail of this season of life, but they will have these photographs. They’ll see the way you looked at them, the way you held them close and the way you showed up for your family.

Years from now, these photos won’t just be pictures. They’ll be proof that you were there.

Present. Loving. All in.

To all the dads who show up day after day, in the big moments and the little ones… thank you.

Sometimes it’s the little things you’ll want to remember most. ♥️

During our session, Mom mentioned that she wanted to make sure they captured these moments before their baby’s beautiful newborn hair changed.

Such a simple reason, but such a meaningful one. 🤍

One month old and already changing so quickly. The tiny details, the sweet cuddles, the way they fit perfectly in their parents’ arms… these are the moments that pass by far too fast.

I’m so grateful I was able to spend the morning with this sweet family and preserve these memories for them. ♥️

A beach evening, a birthday celebration and a group of friends just soaking it all in ✨

I was asked to capture this beautiful girl’s birthday and she chose the perfect way to celebrate! Laughing by the water with her friends while we documented it all!

The light was perfect, the vibe was easy and the joy between them made the whole evening feel effortless.

There’s something really special about photographing friendships like this in such a natural setting.

Grateful to have been part of such a sweet birthday memory! 🤍

And then came the cake... 🎂💛🫧

This little guy was all smiles as he dug into his birthday cake! From curious fingers to frosting-covered cheeks, every moment was filled with sweetness, laughter and so much personality.

The highlight? He discovered that flipping the cake over was absolutely hilarious… and proceeded to do it multiple times. 😂
Cue the belly laughs, flying frosting and a cake that spent more time upside down than right side up!

One year down, a lifetime of adventures ahead. ✨
