Hello friends! I haven't posted in a while, but I promise you I haven't stopped taking photos!

A little backstory--I had a chance to take a trip to Katmai National Park in Alaska to photograph the coastal brown bears there. It was a wonderful experience and I hope to go back one day. The hardest part of that trip for me was lugging around my heavy camera and lenses everywhere I went. While there, I met someone who had a new mirrorless camera. It is so much lighter than my gear, so.....
..I am now the owner of a brand new mirrorless camera system! I received it at Christmas and I haven't had a chance to try it out yet. This means I have a deal for you! Some time in the next couple of weeks (when the weather cooperates), I will be offering 3 people (or couples or families) a FREE one hour portrait session which will include 5 digital images files. There will not be a charge for the session or the 5 images. This will be for outdoor portrait sessions only and can include senior sessions. The goal is for me to become more familiar with a new camera (and also deliver some nice images to someone who will be patient with me while I learn all the cool features of my new toy--I mean, equipment. ;) This will be first-come, first-served for the first 3 folks who contact me. Now I am happy to offer sessions to more than 3 people of course, but only the first 3 get the free stuff. Happy New Year!!

It has been a while since I've done a studio shoot, so I was thrilled to have Eryn a couple of weeks ago! I first met Eryn, her Mom Trish, and her sisters Paige and Kelsey so many years ago when they were all active in modeling and acting the same time Krista was. Some of my first photo shoots as a photographer were with these girls. Now they are all grown up and Eryn is looking to rekindle her modeling and acting career. I was thrilled to see her again and honored to provide some updated images for her portfolio. Best to you as you jump start your career again. Break a leg! .kinda.rad

Where there's a will, there's a way! In spite of a broken (dominant) arm, I recently took individual pictures for the Harker Heights High School Band! My helpful husband set up all my equipment and put my camera on a tripod to allow me to get the pictures. We got it done! All of the edited pictures have now been loaded into a gallery for viewing. I am now working on filling the orders. It's not too late to order buttons or prints, but let me know quickly if you want a photo button as these must be ordered quickly to be in before football season starts.
