📸 IMPORTANT GALLERY UPDATE — PAST + PRESENT CLIENTS!

Okay friends, some important housekeeping over here 🫶🏼

I recently found out that PASS Gallery, the platform I’ve used to deliver client galleries for YEARS, will officially be shutting down.

Obviously this is a pretty big change on the business side of things because I have so many galleries stored through PASS.

Right now, I’m looking through my options and figuring out what makes the most sense moving forward for my business + all of the galleries currently stored there. PASS does have options available for photographers to transition galleries elsewhere, but I haven’t made any final decisions yet.

SOOOO, in the meantime — if you have ever received a PASS gallery from me, PLEASE download your photos. 🤍

Even if you downloaded them years ago, this is your reminder to double check that you still have them somewhere safe! And preferably in more than one place — computer, external hard drive, cloud storage, etc.

Also, just a general reminder that your online gallery should never be the only place your photos live. Galleries are amazing for delivering and accessing your images, but they aren’t meant to be permanent storage forever.

I’ll share more information once I figure out exactly what this transition is going to look like on my end, but I would MUCH rather give everyone a heads up now and have you safely download your photos than risk losing something that simply cannot be recreated. 🥲

So pleaseeee take a few minutes to download + back up your galleries!

And feel free to share this or tag your friends/family who have worked with me over the years. I’ve photographed a LOT of you, so help me get the word out. 🤍

8–12 weeks can feel sooo long when your wedding photos are on the other side of it. 😂 But I’m a big believer in transparency + giving my couples honest timelines from the beginning. I’d rather tell you exactly what to expect than promise a turnaround I can’t consistently deliver.

Somewhere between photographing your day and hitting deliver, thousands of images are being culled down, individually edited + pieced together to tell your story from beginning to end. I want your gallery to get the time and attention it deserves, not just rush it out the door.

And then suddenly, that gallery email hits your inbox and you’re sitting on the couch reliving your wedding day all over again. 🥹🤍

Things I would like to formally request that couples start doing at weddings because I am TIRED OF NORMAL. 😂📸

Not actually. I love normal.

But the second you tell me you're doing something a little weird/different/personal, you've immediately gained my attention.

🥞 HAVE A MORNING WEDDING.
Why don't people do this?! 10 AM ceremony. Brunch reception. Pancakes. Mimosas. Coffee. Cinnamon rolls. Married by 10:30. Eating waffles by 11. NAPPING BY 3. Honestly, ideal.

🌅 Leave your reception and go on a freaking date.
Give me 30 minutes. We'll drive somewhere pretty, turn on music, bring a drink and let you two just hang out while I take photos. Your guests are adults. They'll survive without you. 😂

🌮 Taco Bell at 10 PM.
It’s late. Everyone’s drunk, sweaty and starving. This is no longer the time for tiny fancy appetizers. BRING OUT THE CRUNCHWRAPS.

💌 Private vows.
Cry in peace without 150 people staring at you. I'll be over here silently documenting your emotional destruction. 🫡

🎂 Stop buying wedding cake if you don't like wedding cake.
You are an adult. It's YOUR wedding. Get cinnamon rolls. Get cheesecake. Get Dairy Queen. Bring out 200 Uncrustables for all I care.

🤫 Put “LEAVE US ALONE” directly on your timeline.
30 minutes. No photographer. No videographer. No mom. No bridal party. NOBODY. Go eat dinner alone. Have a drink. Gossip about the day. Have your “holy smokes, we're actually married” moment. You spend months planning this day, you deserve 30 freaking minutes to actually enjoy being married.

Basically, I want more weddings where Foster and I get in the car afterward and go:

“Okay... that was freaking COOL.”

Do the weird thing.

Do the thing that makes your mom ask, “Is that even a wedding thing?”

It is now. 😂📸

Okay, now tell me the coolest/weirdest thing you've ever seen at a wedding because I KNOW I'm missing some. 👀
