Now that I’ve taken the step to let everyone know about my recent breast cancer diagnosis (which was not easy to do for lots of reasons), I have some more news to share, specifically for my photography friends and families.

I am the type of person who is the first to respond YES! to any and all invitations , but this whole cancer thing has forced me to reassess all of my priorities and commitments, including my career as a professional photographer. I am so proud of the business I have built over the last 11 years!

As difficult as it is for me to make some changes to a career that I love, I know that my main focus for the next 6 months or so needs to be on my health and family.  And in order to manage all of the challenges that I will be faced with, but still maintain my own sanity through my professional outlet, I have decided to take a break on booking future weddings .  I will still be fulfilling my current commitments to all the weddings that are already booked (with the help of a wonderful team - thank you Tiffany and Ashley!), and local friends and repeat clients, please ask!!!! I would love to do your family portraits and senior portraits, but any new friends will be referred to Tiffany and Ashley, who as I mentioned are wonderful! In addition to building Pink Trillium Photography I am now taking great pride in helping two other very talented photographers build their business!!!

And, thank you all in advance for the extra time and understanding as it may take me a bit longer to respond to messages and edit photos as I undergo treatment.  This is all very new and overwhelming and I sincerely appreciate all the love and support!!! ….thank you to Dana for helping me find my words! You have no idea how hard this post was! C+A your wedding (shown here) was STUNNING and well worth the wait! So grateful to be a part of your special day!!! I really do love weddings!!!
