It was such a joy to capture these maternity photos for a wonderful friend. She braved the cold, the wind, and the rushing waterfall with so much grace, and every image reflects the love and strength she will carry into motherhood. These two are going to be the most amazing parents, and I’m so excited for them as they step into this new chapter.

Allow me to reintroduce myself—my name is Melissa! I’m an Oregon-based photographer, capturing life’s adventures, from epic love stories to everyday magic 📸✨

When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find me hanging with my daughter (she’s the best sidekick ever), petting my cat (who’s obviously the real boss), nose-deep in a book, leveling up at the gym, or soaking up the great outdoors. Oh, and let’s not forget my love for all things nerdy—ask me about my favorite fandoms, and we’ll probably be instant friends.
