Micayla and Joshua met through mutual friends eight years ago. Six years later, Joshua proposed on a beach in Sagamore. Joshua's sister was starting up a photography business and needed practice with models, so they coordinated a photo session that turned into a proposal, and now it's all beautifully documented! Of course, she said yes!
They like to take walks and go on adventures with their dog, watch movies, play board games and build lego sets together ("only in black and sometimes very very dark gray").
Best wishes, Micayla and Joshua. May you have many wonderful adventures together - "Everything is awesome. Everything is cool when you're part of a team."

Sometimes the path to true love leads you around in circles before you get to the right destination. When I asked Lisa and Michael how they met, they both laughed and said - "well, it's a long story, but 30 years ago, we were in-laws..." Wow - talk about an amazing plot to a movie - I told them they need to talk to a screenwriter, because this is the sort of love story I think we all want to root for!

When it finally came time to tie the knot, Barker House in Scituate just felt like the perfect place for them! They both love the beach and know Scituate harbor well. Family is very important to them - Michael's brother was his best man, and Lisa's grandchildren were her wedding party! It was such an exciting celebration - there was even a butterfly release at the end of the ceremony.
Best wishes, Lisa and Michael - I know your love story is one for the ages! (And tell me when the movie comes out because I want front row seats!)

Courtney and Mike were high school sweethearts. One of the first afternoons they spent together (before officially dating), they sat in the car talking so much that the car battery died and they had to call Mike's dad to jump start it!

They got engaged at Arnold Arboretum in Boston. Mike wanted to make the proposal a surprise, so they ran errands first, so the trip to the park wasn't so suspicious. Very on brand for them - they happened to have car troubles that day, so an extra errand included a stop at the dealership to get the lights checked out! That only added to Mike's stress of being on time for the proposal (he had someone hiding out to photograph it), and he refused to hold Courtney's hand while walking the park for fear that he would lose the ring in his pocket! Fortunately, she didn't notice - it was a perfect day that ended in a YES!

Courtney and Mike love to travel together and with friends. They enjoy playing board games together, playing sports together and playing video games - they both say they are too competitive for their own good, but that makes it all the more fun. They also enjoy cooking and baking together when they have the time to try out new recipes. Best wishes, Courtney and Mike! "The best road trip includes everything crazy that happens along the journey, not just getting to your goal."

Julie and Logan grew up together in South Boston. But it wasn’t until they “bumped into” one another on a dating app that the sparks started to fly. And the rest, as they say, is history. They got engaged a couple years ago in Kennebunkport, Maine, and they love to cook together, spend time with their dog, Zeus, and enjoy a quiet night in with a movie. Another crazy thing they have in common is that they are both twins and come from big families. Their wedding was a ton of fun to photograph – everyone had a great time! Best wishes, Julie and Logan.

Victoria and Kevin met online and dated for two years before Kevin proposed on their anniversary! When it came time to pop the question, Kevin asked Victoria to marry him after a special dinner out at the Seaport. And then he planned a surprise engagement party with all their friends and family. They love to go out to dinner together, travel, go bowling, walk by the water, and just spend time in each other's company. Any day can feel like something special when you are with the one you love! Best wishes, Kevin and Victoria!

Sometimes, you have to go out of the country to meet your soul mate, even though you might have bumped into them much more locally. Brianna and Vincent met in Mexico, while attending a church event. They dated for a year, and got engaged on a dock overlooking Tampa Bay at sunset. Traveling together is something they love to do - they especially like taking long walks outside in warm weather! They also enjoy hiking, binge watching Netflix shows, and hitting the gym together. It's not just seeing new places around the world - as long as they are together, everyday things can become extraordinary.

One of their most anticipated moments of the wedding day was the last dance they shared in the empty ballroom. To close out the night, they asked all their guests to line up outside with glow sticks to see them off. Then they stayed for one last dance together - it was a sweet moment JUST for them to close out the night! Best wishes, Brianna and Vincent - I know you have been spending this last year on all sorts of adventures!

I have gotten so far behind on sharing weddings - I'm not MIA, just B-U-S-Y! And what better way to restart on this 70 degree March day, than to reminisce about last July!

Vicki and Curtis met online in 2019 and got engaged five years later. When it came to planning their wedding, they wanted all the garden vibes, and that's exactly what they got! Curtis' brother officiated over their wedding, while Vicki's sister was her matron of honor. And they really thought through all the details, including folding over 100 paper cranes in all different patterned paper to serve as their place cards. It's those little touches that really made this day unique and special. Best wishes, Curtis and Vicki!

Sarah and Logan were lucky enough to have met RIGHT before the world shut down in 2020. And if you can stay together over a global pandemic, you can get through anything! They love to travel, so it's no surprise that they got engaged while on a family vacation to Rome, or that when thy got a dog, they named him Copenhagen. As proud dog parents, most of their activities now involve Copenhagen - the three of them like to go to dog parks or dog bars and all enjoy time together. Copenhagen almost stole the show at the wedding as their ring bearer. Best wishes!
