After years of proposals and planning, a new four-way traffic signal was activated at Hanover Street and Carlisle Pike, along with the opening of the new 'Slagle Drive' which extends from Hanover Street.

Gerard Daniel Worldwide, one of the largest producers of industrial wire cloth in North America, will make a $2.1 million investment in its Hanover Borough factory located at 150 Factory Street, supported by a $200K state grant.

The investment is expected to create 35 new jobs at the Hanover factory, along with retaining the 107 existing jobs.
