As always thank you to the Cultural Alliance of York County for making residencies like this possible!

Another incredible example of our Arts in Education program, this time with teaching artist Carla Long!

December First Friday, celebrating the opening of “Belonging as the First Step to Leadership,” a photography exhibit by first-year commuter students at York College.

This semester, students in the first-year seminar Belonging Blueprints: Commuter Edition, taught by Professor Myra Toms, explored how a sense of belonging, feeling connected, valued, and part of a community, lays the foundation for becoming a leader at and beyond.

This photography exhibit represents the culmination of their work, guided by Artist-in-Residence Carla B. Long. This project was made possible through support from the Cultural Alliance of York County and the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, and the exhibit is hosted by White Rose Leadership Institute in their office at Marketview Arts
